Commander (Star) Bolt

Star Bolt (AKA Commander Bolt) is my main OC and the star (no pun entended) of his story Tears of a Fallen Star.

Star Bolt was born in Cloudsdale, however when he was a colt he fell out of Cloudsdale and into the Everfree forest, breaking his wing on landing, shortly after he lost his memory when he performed a legendary technique called the lightning orb. After he used the Lightning Orb he was found unconscious by Princess Luna who took him back to Canterlot and patched his wounds. Years later he became commander of Nightmare Moon’s army. His weapon of choice was his mastery of the lightning orb and a custom made shield with a built in blade for close combat. During one battle he lost a chunk of his left ear when a spear took it off.

The Lightning Orb: A legendary technique that only pegasus can use. The same energy used to kick lightning out of clouds, is channeled into the ground evaporating the moister in the area and creating a cloud directly above the user. The electricity traveled to the same cloud through the evaporated water and builds up power inside the cloud. Next the electric discharge from the cloud is scattered in all directions electrocuting everything within the spheres radiuses except for the user. However this drains the user of their energy and can cause death by exhaustion if not used by a skilled pegasus. The last successful pony to attempted and survive this technique was Commander Hurricane.
