Jumb Rafi was born somewhere in the western savannah of Zebrica, for the first year of his life he travelled all over the region with his tribe searching for land to settle on. Once the land was found and his tribe settled he and his parents did medial work for the tribe (farming, gathering, scouting, and defense from predators.)

Like all Zebra at a spacific age he attended the placement trail, and earned his placement mark (A Zebra Warrior Pictograph) after defeating a fellow zebra in hoof-to-hoof combat. After that, he earned a name for himself by defeating every predator that entered the village, quickly and without mercy. When their current chief became ill, the village voted him into taking over the chief’s duties until the other chief regained his health. Due to his intellect in trading, cultural equality, and his friendly social skills, he not only gained the trust of the Central, Eastern, Northern, and Southern Tribes, but he was the first chief in the entire country to befriend all four tribes at once.

Shortly after the original chief regained his health, he gladly handed his title over to Jumb for his ability to place the tribes into a time of peace. Chief Rafi started to have an idea to gather leaders from not only the other tribes of Zebrica, but also the entire world in hopes that he can form a console that will usher in a time of world peace. He began this task by traveling to Equestria to support Nightmare Moon when he received a letter of request for troops.

Placement Trial: A special time in every zebra’s life, where the tribe will give the zebra a series of test, from fighting each other to making potions and medicine. This test will not only decide the zebra role in the tribe, but it also gives them their placement mark (in Equestria this in known as a Cutie Mark) and earns them the title of adult hood. However if the zebra fails to receive their placement mark then they risk banishment from the tribe.
