Captain (Gem) Stone

Captain Stone (first name "Gem") is an OC that I recently created to be part of Star Bolt my main OC's Story.

Gem Stone was born in cottage at the foot of Dragon Mountain, while she was young she wanted to be like her mother. Every day her mother would put on a bandanna to resemble how she feels about the day. However, one day she lost both her parent to a horrible accident that destroyed both her home and the life she once knew.

After that, she spent her foulhood in an orphanage; however, she didn’t fit in there because she followed her mother’s actions in wearing a bandanna every day to show her mood. It was sad however, her bandanna was almost always a lonely shade of white. For this reason, the other fouls would tease her, making her untrusting around other ponies. Day by day, she would sit in the corner of the room they all sleep in, wishing she could be back home with her parents. Because of how untrusting she was, when ponies came in looking to adopted she was always overlooked. For this reason, she spent her entire foulhood in the orphanage until she was old enough to leave on her own.

Shortly after leaving, she ran into a soldier who was recruiting ponies to fight in the nightmare legion. This was shortly after the sky was shrouded in an eclipse. Usually she would deny the offer but something about the stallion intrigued her. While most ponies seemed to be untrustworthy, this one stallion seemed gentle and kind. And to top it all off this particular stallion happened to be Commander Star Bolt, the leader of the entire nightmare army. Therefore, despite her thought of other ponies, she accepted the offer and was trained directly under the stallion who recruited her.

She endured many forms of training that not only worked her to the bone, but it also made her stronger both mentally and physically. It was during her archery training that she discovered her true talent. While firing an arrow at long rang targets was tricky enough, measuring for both elevation and wind speed. She found that she could hit long-range slabs of armor and still pierce them despite the range. It was during this training that she received her cutie mark (an arrow piercing a diamond). Form that day forward Commander Bolt focused all her training on (or relating to) archery. Shortly after she mastered her training, she was promoted to the officer of the archers in Commander Bolts ranks. Because of her devotion and gratitude, she places all her trust in Commander Bolt’s orders and hopes that she can help him reach whatever his goal may be, in this terrible war.
